Mike Spiking
Founder and CEO
Mike was raised in a rural farming town in northwest Missouri. Growing up on a dairy farm, he and his brothers acquired the fundamental skills of hard work. From rural to modern life, he has seen the increasing need and importance of development for efficient technical process. Integrating his knowledge and work ethic, Mike has pursued his passion in furthering his understanding and education in the electronic industry.
Since 2012 Mike has developed Integrated Electronic Solutions into a successful business that now reaches across the US, as he continues to provide electronic solutions to businesses nationwide. Mike has extensive experience in every line of work that we offer. He continues to attend courses and trainings relevant to our line of work. Even as the CEO, Mike still carries value in his hard work. He can often be seen, meeting with customers or on the job site working with his employees.
Mike and his family reside in Northwest Missouri.
Curtis Howard
Project Manager
Curtis was raised in a small town in Northwest Missouri. After H.S. graduation, he attended Missouri Western State University where he earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice.
Curtis was employed by the St. Joseph, Missouri Police Department (SJPD) for 22 years. While with the department, he worked patrol, drug strike force, street crimes unit, crime scene unit, SWAT, detectives and electronic crime unit. Curtis is certified in computer and cellphone forensics, as well as video forensics.
Curtis’s passion for electronics started before he retired from the police department in January 2012. He was the lead person in designing and implementing covert video surveillance. He designed and built several undercover surveillance vehicles for the SJPD. In addition, he designed and implemented the current interrogation system for the SJPD with both audio and video channels. Curtis was one of two founding members of the SJPD Electronic Crime Unit. As a Detective Sergeant, Curtis has viewed countless hours of video and understands the value of proper video implementation.
In 2012, Curtis and Michael began to collaborate on several projects. Their diverse backgrounds continue to complement each other to this day.
Curtis has experience and certifications in fiber optics and has supervised many fiber optic and networking projects for Integrated Electronic Solutions over the past 8 years spanning more than eight States.
Britnee provides Administrative Support and Office Management to Integrated Electronic Solution. With over 14 years of experience, she has brought an array of background knowledge from previous occupations. Her strengths include planning, organization, communication, optimism, delegation, confident decision making, problem solving, flexibility & adaptability. Britnee is a strong team player and believes in leading by example. She enjoys customer relations, bridging gaps and business development.

Britnee Glise
Administrative Assistant & Office Manager
Steve Bode
Corporate Safety and Compliance Director
Steve has 46 years of experience in construction, maintenance, operations, project management and design specializing in high voltage. He performed many roles at St. Joseph Light and Power and retired as Supervisor of Construction Design.
Steve went on to accept a position with a large electrical contractor where he developed a new division that worked on medium voltage systems for large facilities. He then joined Wind Capital Group where he managed daily operations and maintenance activities. Steve has successfully managed 6 wind farms as VP of Operations.
Steve went to work for Electric Power Systems in October of 2015 as a field technician testing medium voltage electrical equipment. Steve worked his way up to the Manager of Renewable Energy. Steve decided to retire and left EPS on April 1, 2020.
In May of 2020 Integrated Electronic Solutions offered Steve the position as the Director of Corporate Compliance and Safety. According to Steve, this has turned out to be best thing he has ever done in his working career.
Matthew Covell
Business Development Manager
Matthew has over 12 years of experience in Sales, Management and Business Development. After graduating high school at the age of 16, he began working as a staff member in a Christian ministry for teens. He developed a strong work ethic, working 7 days a week for his first 3 years, helping in every area of the ministry. This leadership and work ethic led him to be promoted to Program Director, where he managed staff, teens, parent communication as well as routines for the organization. He then went on to College, while he worked full time in commission sales door to door and quickly advanced into Sales Manager. With continued education, he began an internship into Business Development and learned the necessary skills to grow a business. His combined skillset, with his natural leadership abilities and education makes him a strong asset to Integrated Electronic Solutions.
His personal strengths include integrity, organization, time-management, problem solving, discernment and assertiveness. His experience in strategic planning and analytical thinking allow him to identify opportunities for market expansion in the growing and ever-changing field of technology. Matthew understands the challenges that business owners face integrating technology into an efficient, user friendly asset for their business. His management experience in team development has given him excellent communication and interpersonal skills, giving him a passion to provide client satisfaction.
